Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to oversee financial activities and ensure accurate financial reporting across our ventures. You will play a critical role in guiding financial decisions by establishing strong financial controls, streamlining processes, and providing insightful analysis to support Ergatha’s mission. Our team is open to both part-time as well as full-time roles to this regaurd.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare – analyze and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national financial regulations and standards.
- Handle taxation matters including timely filing of tax returns, GST compliance, and liaising with tax authorities.
- Monitor and manage cash flow across Ergatha and its portfolio companies.
- Implement and maintain internal control systems to safeguard financial assets.
- Assist leadership in strategic decision-making by providing actionable financial insights.
- Oversee payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable operations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure smooth annual financial audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CA preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books) and Google Workspace.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments.
- High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining financial confidentiality.
Compensation :
Compensation ranges from 30,000 to 40,000 INR for part-time and 40,000 to 60,000 INR for full-time, based on experience.
